   Joyce has a Bachelors Degree in Air Commerce and Flight Technology from Florida Institute of Technology. She is a certified flight instructor, a business consultant, and she has owned and operated a successful restaurant business since 1982.

   At various times Joyce has owned three restaurants, ran a construction company, apprenticed as an auto mechanic, operated an air conditioning and refrigeration business, sold and serviced restaurant equipment, and even bred and sold pot-bellied pigs, all while still running her original restaurant business.
